Tonny Trindade de Vilhena - FM 2014 Wonderkid Review
Let us take a closer look of player who we think might be the next Clarence Seedorf, Tonny Trindade de Vilhena. Young midfielder that has a national reputation, and might be unknown to the larger group of Football Manager 2014 players. But as we all known, lower reputation means lower buyout price.
First we’ll take a look at his starting attributes. They don’t seem much, nor they promise that Tonny could become a World Class player, especially if we take in consideration his Determination (12) and Work Rate (11). But never judge the book by it’s covers. And if we take in consideration that he’s only 18, then there definitely is hope for Tonny after all. Solid grades that will get much better if trained well and given enough of first team football.
And now let’s take a look at his development. Let us simply put it, Tonny becomes a World Class player and ends up playing for Real Madrid, and caps 33 appearances' for Holland by the time he reaches his late twenties. Awesome attributes in every category. But yet his defensive attributes could be better, especially if we mention the fact that his second best position is as a M (C) in a Deep Lying Playmaker role with a defend duty.
He has got fairly solid stats throughout the seasons, so we can say he is a constant performer. Also, his strongest specific aspect are Important Matches. But what might concern you is the fact that he is Injury Proneness.
If you decide to buy him for your club in FM 2014 then be prepared to to invest somewhere around £4M, which seems like a bargain price now that you know that he is going to develop into one of the best players in the game. If you’re in a need of a midfielder that wont make an immediate impact, but one that will be a great investment for the future, then look no further, Tonnys’ your man.
