Zakaria Bakkali - FM 2014 Wonderkid Review
We are getting used to see Belgium football produces world-class players nowadays, and Zakaria Bakkali will probably be their next Eden Hazard if everything goes his way. Player that has Belgium, Moroccan, and is awaiting paperwork for Dutch nationality. But if you’re not managing any of these nations, then this should not concern you too much.
At only 17 years of age, Zakaria has fairly good starting attributes that may suggest his potential ability. Except for his Determination (10) and Work Rate (7), that just simply stink. He is a no way a player that will make an immediate impact, but for sure a great one for the future.
If you do transfer him at the start of the game, it would be best to let him go on a loan, so he could gain some first team experience.
Once developed, Zakaria is a force to be reckoned. His natural position is an Inside Forward, although he can equally adapt to a Poacher role in your team’s tactic.
Some of his attributes develop way better than the others, so you’ll see a high rise in his Technical attributes, such as Free Kick Taking (19), Long Shots (18), and Penalty Taking (16).
We can’t say that we highly recommend Zakaria, as he will cost you quite a bit at the start of the game, and his value stays pretty much the same even after 5 years into the game.
But if you ever do decide to sign him, be prepared to offer PSV a healthy offer somewhere around £11M. Is he worth it, we’ll let you decide.
