First player we couldn't compare to anyone in Football Manager 2014, but if we had to say to whom does he resembles the most, first name that comes to mind would be Gareth Bale, but then again Lucas Ocampos is natural right winger, opposite to Bale who is playing at left side of the pitch.
One of the best young wingers in FM 2014, Lucas is versatile and can play at most midfield positions. Ranging from left midfield position to his natural position as a attacking midfielder in winger role.
His potential ability of -9, which ranges anywhere from 150 - 180, promises good development if coached properly. In our save he did develop quite nicely, and some major improvements can be seen in his technical and physical area of the game.
Unlike most of wingers in FM14, Lucas has surprisingly above average high, even compared to most players, not just wingers. This also makes him a good Wide Target Man, new role in FM 2014, which is best used against smaller and weaker full backs.
Also worth mentioning is his average rating throughout the season. Managing to obtain a solid rating of above 7.00, tells us that this lad is a constant performer. And you can even expect some goals and assists from him, even thou that is not his primary duty.
His estimated cost is ranging somewhere between £15.75M - £20.5M. Rather large figure for a player that may, or may not develop as seen in the screenshot above. Nevertheless, a great player, and highly recommended buy in Football Manager 2014.
