Review
One of the best young defenders that came out from Croatian football academy is for sure strong centre back Tin Jedvaj. Media predict that he'll be the new Slaven Bilic, legendary Croatian defender that made career playing for England clubs such as West Ham and Everton, but honestly saying, Jedvaj will be way better than Bilic ever was.
Looking at his attributes at the start of Football Manager 2014, Tin seems to be well on his way to become a top class central defender. He's got all necessary attributes for a quality central defender even at this young age.
Heading (14), Marking (13), Tackling (14), Aggression (14), Bravery (14), Composure (13), Concentration (13), Determination (16), Positioning (14), Jump Reach (15). Take note that these are the stats of a player that still in his teenage years!
Once developed and still not at the peak of his game, Tin truly resembles to some of the games greatest central defenders. He's game is consistent and there are no weaknesses to it, plus he is a player that relishes' Important Matches. Young player made for the big stage.
Also his Aerial Ability will provide you some goals from corners and free kicks.
Try to bring him to your club at the beginning of the game and you'll fail. Dinamo Zagreb just sold the player to Roma, and they are unwilling to sell him. Also, Tin is unwilling to get into any transfer talks. Try to get him at the start of the second season and you might just get him for a bargain price of £5M.
Alongside with Balanta and Marquinhos, Tin Jedvaj is definitely one of the best wonderkid defenders in Football Manager 2014, and his low transfer price makes him a definite must buy player for any FM14 club.
