Hello and welcome to my FM16 Crystal Palace save! In this save I am going to attempt to make Crystal Palace F.C. the next London Powerhouse - and I want to share my adventure with you guys!
Club History
Most of you here will have heard of Crystal Palace. But if you haven't then I will give you a brief Overview of the Club and its history.
Crystal Palace are a professional football club based in London and their n. They currently play in the Premier League, England's top division. They were founded in 1905 at the exhibition centre with the same name. They joined the football league in 1920 and most recently won promotion to the Premier League in 2013, although they have never won the competition. The Main colours of Crystal Palace are Red and Blue, a style they have been with since 1973 when they previously wore Claret and Blue. Crystal Palace currently play their home games at Selhurst Park, the ground holds over 25,000 supporters and opened in 1924 and most recently developed again in 2014.

Targets and Board Expectations
My target for the whole save is to eventually make Crystal Palace a force to be reckoned with in European and World Football. However You and I both know thats not going to happen overnight. However this season I am targeting a Mid-Table finish in the Premier League and ideally I would like to make it to the Quarter-Finals (Sixth Round) of the FA Cup, and I have told the board this.
The Squad
The tactic we will be using to begin with will be the 2-3-1-1-3. This tactic was all created by myself (Blog Post Soon?) and i have enjoyed great success with the tactic on my Main save with Marseille and in an Online save with Sunderland. However with the latter i have found myself on the end of some huge away defeats, so maybe a separate tactic for away games will be needed in the future.
Pre-Season
I, probably like many of you here, do not take pre season too seriously. However I do see it as a good opportunity to get the squad used to the tactics i will employ and further evaluate the squad. Pre-Season however went well as I won every game during pre season
Now the teams that I faced during pre season were not that great. I know that none of these teams really compare to any of the premier league sides that I will face in the future however these results give me confidence that the team is getting used to the tactics.
In the next post I will show you what happened in the first few premier league games. Plus I will introduce you to a couple of new signings that have been made!
