This Football Manager 2018 database brings back some epic teams, managers and players from around the world in the original leagues and teams from 1985/86.
If you don't remember 80's football, this is a great and fun opportunity to learn about an epic football era.
There is also a facepack for the database that you have to get separately.

Recommended Setup of the FM18 95-96 Database
IMPORTANT! When you set up a new career, choose the default FM version with NO updates and then add the editor file 1985/86 Season DB, and only tick the box saying that, don't tick any other boxes.
Then choose which leagues you want to load, recommended leagues:
Italy Serie A and the 
English First Division. To get as many players from around the world loaded, choose Database size CUSTOM and load players Based in a nation from as many countries you want.
Even if the game says Approximately Player Count 150.000 and the Estimated Game Speed is low, the game will only load approximately 10.000 players, and you won't feel the Game Speed affected at all.
I have created the original managers but not any other staff. So do add key personnel to let the game generate more coaches and other staff.
BEWARE of longer loading time than usual, even if it freezes as its loading, it will bounce back and finish.
In order to get database on your game you will have to subscribe it on Steam Workshop.
After you download via Mediafire move the file to:
C:\Users\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2018\games ( this is the folder where your save games are stored in FM18 )
Once you downloaded and moved the file to this path, start the game by loading the save file in FM 2018.
