Players / Squad Depth / Strenghts
Goalkeepers
The main goalkeeper is Bailey Peacock-Farrell. The 21 years old goalkeeper has a loan spell last year to York City. He returned with lots of experience and now he is the main goalkeeper of the team.
Your second choice for the position is Jamal Blackman. He is a loan from Chelsea FC with good reflexes and nice vision.
You should also get under your radar the Under 23s main goalkeeper Will Huffer. He is a decent youth player, England U20s regular, good stats and with the right loans he can be a star and a regular for your side for 10+ years.
Defenders
There are lots of choices for the back four. Pontus Jansson and Liam Cooper seems to be your ideal duo for the central defender position. Their stats are decent and their partnership can be crucial for your campaign in the battle for promotion to the Premier League.
Your third-choice defender is Gaetano Berardi. The Italian center-back is a quality player and he is ready to challenge Liam Cooper for the starting eleven spot.
Also, a good choice is the youngster Conor Shaughnessy. He is a good back-up player.
For the full back position there are for the right side Luke Ayling and for the left side Barry Douglas and Tom Pearce.
Midfielders
There are lots of names for the midfield positions. First of all, for the defensive midfielder position are the Englishman Kalvin Phillips and the Dutchman Vurnon Anita. Both of them are very good with the ball, they are strong and their marking ability is beyond from good.
For the central-midfielder role there are Lewis Baker, who is loaned from Chelsea FC, Adam Forshaw, the Polish Mateusz Klich, the Irishman Eunan O’Kane and the Under 23s Jamie Shackleton.
Wingers
For the right-hand side are the veteran Spaniard Pablo Hernandez, whose quality is amazing and the youngster Jack Harrison, who is loaned from Manchester City.
For the left-hand side are Ezgjan Alioski, nice dribbling and passing and Stuart Dallas, good second-choice left winger.
Strikers
Four players are the goalscoring power of the team. Samu Saiz is a player whose role is second striker. Saiz is an experienced player with nice shooting, he can play between the gaps and he can finish the opportunities very well.
Patrick Bamford, 24, is a former wonderkid in the previous versions of the game. He is a decent striker with good vision, good heading and good shooting ability.
Probably your first-choice for the striker position will be Kemar Roofe. Roofe’s ability to finish opportunities is amazing. Good header, nice dribbling and amazing finishing.
Another player for this position is the Englishman Tyler Roberts. He is a young player, only 19 yeas old, with lots of potential and ability.
