The players will have to be under the age of 20 (by the end of this year) to make this list, some of the players may already be household names while a few others are still trying to get there but certainly have the potential to do so,Joao Felix Sequeira
Dubbed as the next Cristiano Ronaldo, Joao Felix is one of the most obvious names on this list. He initially trained with the Porto youth squad before moving over to Rivals Benfica in 2015. The 2018-2019 was the real breakthrough of Felix’ career when he scored 15 league goals from 26 games, many of them as a substitute. This earned a call up for the Portugal national side where he took part in the EURO 2020 qualifiers. He later made a record £113m move to Atletico Madrid in 2019 where he has a 7 year contract.

A youth product of Watford & Manchester City, Jadon Sancho forced a move to Borussia Dortmund in Aug 2017 for a fee of just £8m. At just 19 years, Sancho is now a regular in both the Dortmund setup and in the England national team. He currently holds the record for the most goals scored by the youngest player in a single Bundesliga season and he is also Dortmund’s youngest player to score 10 league goals. He was subsequently named in the Bundesliga team of the year for 2018-2019. He is now a hot asset in the transfer market with many clubs vying for his signature.
Matthijs De Ligt
Widely regarded as the best defender for his age, De Ligt is a product of the famous Ajax academy. He became the second youngest player to score for Ajax. He became the youngest player to take part in the Europa league final in 2017 at the age of just 17. He later became the first defender ever to win the European golden boy award, he also went on to become the youngest debutant for Netherlands since 1931. With a whole host of accolades to his name, it is easy to see why De Ligt is highly rated. He now has a 5 year contract with Juventus when they bought him for a fee of around £60m.
Kai Havertz
The technically gifted midfielder plays for Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga. Kai Havertz is the youngest debutant in the Bundesliga and is the youngest goalscorer in the history of Leverkusen when he did so at the age of just 17. He also went on to become the youngest player to make 50 appearances in the Bundesliga. Havertz is now a German international and his playstyle draws comparison with Mesut Ozil with Havertz admitting that Ozil is his idol. Havertz is highly sought after in the transfer market with many clubs vying for his signature, it is not sure how long Leverkusen will be able to hold on to the attacking midfielder.

Widely regarded as the heir for Buffon’s throne, Donnarumma is already a known entity to most FM managers. He has been a wonderkid who goes on to become the best keeper in game for many versions in a row. Donnarumma became the second youngest debutant in the Serie A when he played for Milan at the age of just 16. He is also the youngest goalkeeper to ever represent Italy when he debuted at just 17 years of age. He is now a very established goalkeeper for AC Milan and has made over 150 league appearances at the age of just 20. With AC Milan struggling in the league this season, Donnarumma could be headed elsewhere next summer.
Callum Hudson-Odoi
The young winger is a success story of the Chelsea youth academy. He was part of the squad that won the u18 Premier League and back to back FA Cups. He also achieved success with the England u17 team when he became runner up at the European U17 championship and won the FIFA u17 championship. He later went on to become the youngest debutant for England in a competitive match. Hudson-Odoi is now a key part of the Chelsea set up at the tender age of just 18. Chelsea warded off heavy interest from Bayern Munich turning away a few bids before finally offering a new contract for him in 2019.

The 20 year old winger plays for Roma in the Serie A. Zaniolo was a youth product of Fiorentina and was always regarded as a potential superstar. Inter saw an opportunity with Zaniolo when they signed him in 2017 but he never made a professional appearance at the club and was part of the Naingollan transfer saga when he moved to Roma. He represented Roma in 27 games last season and has established himself as a regular starter for the club. He has also gone on to make his International debut for Italy.

Dubbed as the next Neymar, Rodrygo is a Brazilian winger who plays for Real Madrid. He started his career at Santos and made his senior appearance for the club at just 17 years. He went to make 41 league appearances for the club before Real Madrid swooped him up for a whopping £40m. Rodrygo is a versatile winger who can play multiple attacking positions on either wings or as a striker. He has already made his senior debut for Real Madrid and has even scored his first goal for them.
