Here's an FM20 cheat discovered by the YouTuber OPN FM on how to buy players below their transfer value.
In his video, OPN FM, show us how to sign all the players you want and make your dream team at a knockdown price. Note, using cheats may affect your enjoyment of the game so use this for when you really want to buy that player but just can't afford him or better yet for experimental purposes.
Here's how to go on about utilizing this transfer exploit in your Football Manager 2020 save.
FM20 Transfer Cheat
For instance, let's say you'd like to buy Kalidou Koulibaly for your Liverpool team to form a defensive partnership with Van Dijk.
Obviously, you'd first want to navigate to Koulibay's profile and on the Transfer tab, you'd pick Make An Offer.
Senegalese defender has a transfer market value set at £55M and if you bid that offer to Napoli they will counter that offer with a higher price, in this case, £87M.
Now, you can obviously negotiate that counteroffer to a lower value the normal way and you'd pay around £70M, but instead of that, you'll be adding two additional clauses to this transfer negotiation, Loan Back Length and Can Be Recalled From Loan Back.
In the Loan Back Lenght clause choose End Of Season and 100% wages paid by the club. This means that Napoli keeps him to the end of the season and will pay for Koulibay's wages for the full duration of the loan.
And then instead of paying £85M, you drop that price to a £22M or whatever you think is appropriate for the player you're making an offer.
And as you can see from the screenshot below, Napoli have accepted this lowball offer for Koulibay of only £22M, the transfer exploit worked perfectly.
But as you might have already noticed yourself, it does mean that the player will start the season at his current club on a loan, but because there is a Recall From Loan clause in place you will be able to recall him in the second part of the season, that is in the January transfer window and start using him from there.
This is basically the only downside of this cheat, but for the savings on your transfer budget, it is worth it.
Also, note that sometimes the Loan Back Lenght clause will be greyed out and all that means that the transfer window of the country that the player you're trying to sign is not currently open.
