The world of football is full of clubs that have amassed massive potential and could, in the years to come, become a genuine powerhouse of the European. Where, then, might you find a club that can be built-up to achieve great things on the football scene?
Where are some clubs that could build something realistically capable of challenging for silverware at home and in Europe?
Spartak Moscow
The biggest club in Russia, Spartak are a giant of the game and one of the most unfulfilled names in the European sport. Spartak are a fine example of the kind of club that you can build up if you are willing to have some patience. Quality facilities, a brand new stadium, and a whole host of interesting players to build around. Add in a large budget and life in Moscow, and there is ample potential.
Dynamo Kyiv
If you would rather manage the eternal rivals of Spartak, though, you should set up to take on the world as Dynamo Kyiv. A genuine giant of the European game, they have previous European success and were Semi-Finalists of both UEFA tournaments in the last decades.
A giant of a club with immense facilities and a tremendous youth system, you could build a genuine behemoth if you committed to it. Kyiv offers a fantastic opportunity to dominate domestically and abroad.
Feyenoord
If you would like to try out a club with immense potential, look no further than Feyenoord. Poor domestically for decades now, the club has only won one league in the last three decades. However, the club academy still churns out superstars and you could use that to your advantage to build a side that is far beyond anything that Feyenoord has built since the early 2000s.
Definitely a club with everything needed to really build upon.
AS Roma
Although already a giant club, AS Roma are not regular title competitors. That’s why the investment that has come in via the Friedkin Group might change everything. We highly recommend trying out an AS Roma save as they will have the kind of funding that you need to really try and push Juventus for the title. Built properly, Roma could be a genuine giant of the game. Why not try and build something organic with them, then?
Olympique Lyonnais
7-time league winners Lyon might not be the domestic juggernaut that they once were, but OL are definitely a club with immense potential. They have a tremendous scouting and academy network, and already boast some excellent talent in their attack and midfield.
With enough seasons in the UEFA Champions League, you should be able to build a team that is more than capable of achieving genuine success. Without doubt, Lyon are one of the few sides in France capable of taking PSG on.
