OUT NOW: Football Manager 2021 Wonderkids Shortlist
While every FM database comes with a few surprise names, here are some young talents who we expect to see riding pretty high on the list of potential wonderkids in Football Manager 2021. If you are looking to build a team for tomorrow, then you might wish to add some of these boys to your list of targets to focus on.
Luka Romero
You might have seen photos of young Romero flying around social media due to his rather ambitious haircut – but there is more to this young man than sartorial ambition. He’s a 15-year-old midfielder who regularly plays in La Liga for RCD Mallorca, and could become a very big name in the Football Manager scene for years to come.
Capable of playing for either Argentina or Mexico, he’s a multi-cap international in the making who looks set to explode soon.
Emrehan Gedikli
We all love a young forward, and explosive striker Emrehan Gedikli is one to keep an eye on for sure. He’s an ambitious attacking forward with the ability to get by a man, to take shots first time, and to link up with his teammates. Born in 2003, too, the youngster has massive potential and should be one of the highest-rated young German-based players in Football Manager 2021 database.
A precocious talent who has all the ability in the world.
Shola Shoretire
The Manchester United academy is famous for exciting youth talent, and Shoretire looks like he could be one of the next ones to breakthrough. He’s a unique young player, with an excellent playing style that makes him ideal as your left-winger. He’s got excellent ability in his right foot and has made a young career so far of cutting in and exploding with passes, shots, and dribbles.
Very much a player to look into if you are looking for an exciting, committed, and ambitious forward.
Vinicius Augusto
If your main aim is to find a quality full-back, though, you might wish to look to Brazil and young Vinicius Augusto. The younger has become a very impressive name on the scene; a wing-back with excellent energy and an outstanding level of technical accomplishment for one so young.
He’s one of those modern full-backs that can handle being both winger and full-back at once: a deeply exciting player capable of so much.
Herculano Nabian
Lastly, who could leave out the wonderfully named Herculano Nabian?
Playing for Vitoria SC in Portugal, the young forward has the ability to really take on a man and put the ball into the box with precision. He’s already regularly getting youth caps for Portugal and looks more than likely to make it as a full-time professional. He’s scored more than 40 goals for the Vitoria youth teams and looks set to fill that infamous Portugal striker void.
