Getting the club to back their dominance of the late 90’s and early 2000’s will be your job. To help you begin this overhaul you have some relatively decent players in stalwart goalkeeper Bill Hamid, Peruvian playmaker Edison Flores, and goal scorer Ola Kamara. LAFC are one of best teams in the MLS currently. They are blessed with a dynamic strike force of MLS record holder Bradley Wright-Phillips and Mexican centre forward Carlos Vela. Additionally, LAFC’s defensive foundation is based around experienced goalkeeper Kenneth Vermeer.

LAFC joined the MLS as an expansion team back in 2018 and have gone from strength to strength since then. Vela has been the key to the club’s success scoring a huge amount of goals for LAFC.

To win the MLS, you’ll have to overcome the glitz and the glamour of local rivals LA Galaxy in the derby known as El Trafico. Despite having one of the smaller stadiums in the league, LAFC have a growing fanbase and strong line-up, are they the team to take you to North American glory?

Another founder member of the MLS, The Fire have the longest MLS Cup drought in the league having not won the trophy since 1998. Since then, tough times have been the norm for Chicago’s fans with the club regularly missing out on the playoffs.

The team is not a line-up of superstars. Bastian Schweinsteiger is no at the club. So, as you begin, you will base your Chicago Fire team around goal scorer Robert Beric and young talented playmaker Ignacio Aliseda. The club needs a lot of development of the playing squad to get them back towards the upper echelons of the league again. Are you the manager to do it?

Sun, sea, sand and Gonzalo Higuain. What more could you ask for? (Well, maybe that Higuain doesn’t miss a clear-cut chance in a final).

David Beckham’s new club Inter Miami seem to be the new fashionable in the MLS. They look to have recruited well with players like Rodolfo Pizarro, Mattias Pellegrini, Blaise Matuidi and the aforementioned Higuain. Inter Miami’s squad is strong and full of experience but has struggled for consistency in real life. Getting this team to fire will be a fun challenge on Football Manager2021.
