Board Requirements
A semi final < finish in the Europa League.
Additionally, you will be required to sign young players for the future and to develop young players using the club’s youth system.
Roma have excellent training facilities and a very good youth system that will churn out the occasional potential star player. You can rely on this to make the club achieve their targets and to rebuild a strong squad with the club.

Squad, Formation and Tactical Style
Roma have a set of players that suit a vertical tiki taka style of play or a fluid counter attack style of play. You can choose whichever you feel best works for you.
A 4-2-3-1 is the best suited formation for Roma considering the strengths of their current squad of players. However, you can also play a 4-3-3 if the situation demands so.
A rough example of what your line-up would look like in a 4-2-3-1 formation is as follows,
Chris Smalling & Gianluca Mancini as your 2 centre backs both are comfortable on the ball and can play as ball playing defenders.
Leonardo Spinazzola & Rick Karsdorp as the 2 full backs with the former playing as a wing back with high crossing instructions. You can also instruct him to get further forward and join in on attacks.
Jordan Veretout & Bryan Cristante as the 2 central midfielders. Cristante playing the role of a defensive playmaker, Veretout in a box to box role.
Lorenzo Pellegrini to be played as an attacking midfielder in a No10 role.
Pedro & Nicolo Zaniolo as the 2 wingers with Pedro playing as an inside forward and Zaniolo as an inverted winger.
Edin Dzeko as the lone forward in a deep lying forward role.

Key Players
1. Edin Dzeko
Despite being 34, Dzeko is one of Roma’s best players and has been absolutely sensational going forward. The experienced Bosnian despite not being fast is extremely good in the air and can thrive off crosses.
2. Nicolo Zaniolo
Despite being just 21, Zaniolo is one of the best players in the Roma side and will develop into one of the best wingers in Italy. He is a very good dribbler and is absolutely lethal in front of goal when presented with chances.
3. Lorenzo Pellegrini
Another young Italian superstar in the making, Pellegrini is already an established International and is one of the better players in the Roma side. He is a team player and provides excellent set piece delivery for the taller players to attack.
4. Jordan Veretout
Veretout is an important cog in the Roma midfield. He is versatile and can chip in with key goals especially in important games.
Weaknesses
2. You run the risk of some talents being poached by other clubs especially in search of higher wages.
3. Some key players are ageing and replacements may not be very easy to find.
Youth Prospects
1. Ibanez
The 21 year old Brazilian defender is on loan from Atalanta and will be joining Roma on a permanent transfer in 2021. He is already good enough to start games for the club and will only improve in the future.
2. Marash Kumbulla
Another player on loan who will join permanently in 2021, Kumbulla was highly sought after by several clubs across Europe. He is good enough to already be starting games for Roma and will become one of the best defenders in the game.
3. Alessio Riccardi
The versatile central midfielder can easily become one of the mainstays for Roma in the future and will develop into a very useful squad player.

Summary
To Summarize, despite being the dominant club from the capital city, Roma have always been in the shadow of the Italian giant clubs. Can you as a manager take over and dethrone the usual suspects making Roma the biggest club in Italy?
