Here is the list of the top 5 FM21 wonderkid strikers who you can and must sign after the winter database update.
Youssoufa Moukoko
· Current Value: £1.1m
· Nationality: German
· Current Club: Borussia Dortmund
At just 15, Moukoko is widely considered as one of the best ever wonderkids to appear in any Football Manager games. He is the youngest ever player to debut in the history of Bundesliga & the Champion’s League and is also the youngest ever scorer in Bundesliga history. His stats are good enough for him to be starting for most league sides already and will develop very quickly into one of the best players in fm21. Obviously, for a player who represents such good value, he will not be available for cheap, but you can get him for around £25m in most saves, and this is a small price to pay to what Moukoko brings to the table.
Erling Haaland
· Current Value: £70m
· Nationality: Norwegian
· Current Club: Borussia Dortmund
The 2nd name on the list needs no introduction. Haaland is one of the most well-known names in football already and is obviously amongst the best wonderkids in FM 2021. Already having numbers to rival the best players in the world, it is hard to believe that Haaland is still just 20. Haaland is the most expensive player on this list, with good reason. For starters, his starting market value itself is £70m, and this will only go up the more he plays. He is guaranteed to be amongst the top scorers in the league regardless of which club you sign him with and will become the best player in the world in time. Anything less than multiple titles and Ballon D’or can be considered sub-par when managing Haaland.
Lazaro
· Current Value: £32.5k
· Nationality: Brazilian
· Current Club: Flamengo (FLA)
The 3rd Striker on the list is Lazaro from Flamengo. The young Brazilian is a product of the Flamengo youth system. He is one of the famed quintessential South American wonderkid in Football Manager and can develop into an absolutely top-class striker. Considering that he is available for around £11m-12m at the start of the save, Lazaro represents excellent value for money. Lazaro is already a good finisher at 18, and this only accentuates over the years. In most saves, he becomes an absolutely clinical finisher who bags plenty of goals season upon season. He is also versatile and able to play comfortably behind the striker, usually in a support striker role.
Rafael Leao
· Current Value: £17.75m
· Nationality: Portuguese
· Current Club: AC Milan
The 4th striker on the list is AC Milan’s Rafael Leao. Working his way up the Sporting youth system, Leao is the club’s youngest goal scorer. After an ugly incident with the fans, Leao joined Lille on a free transfer and, after impressing several clubs, joined AC Milan in 2019. He had scored the fastest ever goal in Serie A when he scored just 6 seconds into the game. Called the Portuguese Mbappe, Leao is an extremely quick and agile striker. He is incredibly hard to contain and is a clinical finisher. His ability to play as a winger makes it easy to fit him into most formations. Although he costs quite a lot (Around £35m), he will develop into a world-class star and be an asset to any team he joins. His market value also shoots up a few seasons into the save and can be sold for a huge profit later.
Dane Scarlett
· Current Value: £115k
· Nationality: English
· Current Club: Tottenham Hotspurs
The 5th and last player on the list is Dane Scarlett from Spurs. Having already made his European and League debut for Spurs, Scarlett is one of their youngest players to play a professional match. He is also a part of the U17 set up for England and is predicted to be a future international for the country. Considering that Scarlett is available for under £700k, he represents the best value for money on this list. He already has incredible finishing and decent composure attributes, which will only get better with age. He can be an absolute asset to any team in a couple of seasons and can be as good as Harry Kane in a few years.
