About the club
RB Leipzig are a professional football club that ply their trade in the Bundesliga. The club was founded very recently in 2009 when Red Bull GmbH purchased a 5th tier German side (SSV Markranstadt).
They were promoted from the 5th tier to the Bundesliga in just 8 years in a
remarkable ascension for the club. They also enjoyed a couple of unbeaten
