In this set of articles, we will be looking at the potential best 100 wonderkids in FM22. Part 1 of 10.

Wonderkids are one of the if not, THE most important aspect of Football Manager games over the years. The prospect of identifying and managing the “next big thing” in world football is like an addiction to most FM22 managers.

Many of these players are already considered generational talents. They are well known in the footballing circuit, while some others maybe not be as popular but have the potential to be just as good in the future. These articles will split the youngsters into batches of 10 and give a brief description of the wonderkid so that managers can keep an eye out for them when FM22 releases.

1. Reda Slim

Reda Slim is a young Moroccan winger who plays for FAR Rabat in the Moroccan league. As you can see from his FM21 profile, Slim is a well-rounded winger who has the potential to develop in the future. His performances have caught the eyes of scouts from European clubs, and he is expected to get attributes boost in FM22.

2. Alexandr Shestyuk

Alexandr Shestyuk is a young striker who plays for Dinamo Brest in the Belarusian league. Although not having great attributes in FM21, Shestyuk is considered an excellent prospect in Belarus and has played at a couple of junior levels for the country. He is definitely expected to get a good boost in stats in FM22 and can be an asset for several lower-tiered clubs.

3. Natanael Moreira

Natanael Moreira, or simply Natanael, is a right full-back who plays for Coritiba in the 2nd tier of Brazilian football. A Naturally attacking full-back, Natanael already has decent attributes in FM21 which are only bound to get better in FM22. Natanael can be your very own Dani Alves under the right circumstances and guidance.

4. Alexandar Vasiljevic

Alexandar Vasiljevic is a big Serbian centre back who currently plays for Metalac in the Serbian League. A player on the mould of Branislav Ivanovic, Vasiljevic is a big physical presence in defence. Although his attributes in FM21 are underwhelming, he can get a good stat boost in FM22 and can be a hidden gem to watch out for.

5. Liel Abada

Liela Abada is a young Israeli winger who plays for Celtic in the Scottish Premiership. Abeda is already popular and regarded as a potential star in the future. He is already an Israeli international despite his young age and has decent attributes in FM21 which are only going to get better in the next edition of the game. With his work permit easy to get, Abada could be a cheap alternative to even PL managers in FM22.

6. Marco John

Marco John is a versatile central midfielder who plays for Hoffenheim in the German Bundesliga. A German Youth international, Marco John, can play multiple roles in midfield and is expected to get a good attribute boost in FM22.

7. Cristian Medina

Cristian Medina is a central midfielder who plays for Boca Juniors in the Argentine league. Dubbed as the next Fernando Gago, Medina has a good passing range and can be a good playmaker from central areas. He is also a regular at a couple of junior levels in Argentina and is expected to get a decent attribute boost in FM22.

8. Facundo Farias

Facundo Farias is an attacking midfielder who plays for Colon in Argentina. Touted as having great potential, Farias is already under the radar of several European clubs, including Juventus and is said to be a player in the same mould as Riquelme. Having very good attributes in FM21, Farias is only expected to get better in the next instalment of the game and can be a handy signing for many FM managers.

9. Renan De Silva

Renan De Silva, or Renan, plays for Palmeiras in the Brazilian first division. Capable of playing centrally or on the left, Renan is versatile and quick for a defender. Also, on the radar of a few European clubs, Renan has decent attributes in FM21 which could be even more improved in FM22.

10. Jeremy Doku

The last player on this list is a very well known name in European Football. Doku is already one of the most exciting prospects from Belgium and currently plays for Rennes in Ligue 1 France. A Belgium international, Doku is a very strong dribbler who can play on the wings or as a pseudo striker. Doku is one of the more established wonderkids of FM21 and is expected to be amongst the best wonderkids of FM22.
