In this set of articles, we will be looking at the potential best 100 wonderkids in FM22. Part 2 of 10.

Wonderkids are one of the if not, THE most important aspect of Football Manager games over the years. The prospect of identifying and managing the “next big thing” in world football is like an addiction to most FM22 managers.

Many of these players are already considered generational talents. They are well known in the footballing circuit, while some others maybe not be as popular but have the potential to be just as good in the future. These articles will split the youngsters into batches of 10 and give a brief description of the wonderkid so that managers can keep an eye out for them when FM22 releases.

Continuing from our previous articles, we take a look at the list of the next 10 potential wonderkids in FM22 who could add value to squads.

1. Arsen Zakharyan

Arsen Zakharyan is a Russian footballer who plays as a midfielder for Dinamo Moscow in the Russian League. He is quite versatile and can play as an attacking or a central midfielder. Zakharyan was named among the 60 young talents by Guardian who were born in or after 2003. Zakharyan also recently got his senior Russian cap, although he missed out on the squad that went to the Euros. Zakharyan is expected to get an increase to his attributes in Football Manager 2022.

2. Cristian Dumitru

Cristian Dumitru is a Romanian footballer who plays for Arges Pitesti on loan from FCSB in the Romanian league. Dumitru is a youth international with Romania and has represented the nation at several junior levels. Dumitru has underwhelming attributes in FM21 and could get a stat boost in FM 2022.

3. Fabrizio Diaz

Fabrizio Diaz is an Uruguayan footballer who plays in the midfield for Liverpool De Montevideo in Uruguay top league. A natural central midfielder, Diaz is also capable of playing as a defensive midfielder. Diaz was not a well known name in FM21 and his attributes are underwhelming but he could get a boost in attributes in FM22. Diaz’ potential is respected in Uruguay, and he is expected to be a big player for the national team in the future.

4. Gianluca Busio

Gianluca Busio is an American footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for newly promoted Venezia in Serie A. Busio was an MLS star who recently made the switch to European football. He is also a current American International who has represented the nation 6 times. Busio is expected to get a decent attribute boost in FM22, making him an alluring wonderkid prospect for a few managers.

5. Jordy Evans

Jordy Evans is a Costa Rican footballer who plays for Deportivo Saprissa in the first tier of Costa Rican football. He is currently a youth international for Costa Rica and can play as a central defender or a right full-back. His FM21 attributes are extremely underwhelming, and the player is expected to get an attribute boost in the next instalment of the game.

6. Nathanael Mbuku

Nathanael Mbuku is a French footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder/striker for Reims in Ligue 1 France. Mbuku is a youth international with France and recently represented the nation in the Olympics. Mbuku has decent attributes in FM21 and could improve in FM22, making him an alluring prospect for many managers, especially ones managing French clubs.

7. Nemanja Jovic

Nemanja Jovic is a Serbian footballer who plays for Partizan in the top tier of Serbian football. Jovic is of Bosnian descent but chose to represent Serbia and has already been given his senior cap for the nation. Jovic can play on the left or as a striker. His FM21 attributes are underwhelming, but recent career developments could see him get an attribute boost in FM22.

8. Omar Campos

Omar Campos is a Mexican footballer who plays as a left midfielder for Santos Laguna in the Liga MX. Campos made his senior debut for Santos Laguna in 2021 and has been a regular feature for the side since. His performances for the club are likely to get him a boost in attributes in FM22.

9. Tomas Suslov

Tomas Suslov is a Slovakian footballer who plays for FC Groningen in the Eredivisie. Suslov is a current international with Slovakia and has represented the nation 6 times. Suslov has decent attributes in FM21 and could get a bonus in attributes like many others on this list in FM22.

10. Alphonso Davies

Alphonso Davies is a Canadian footballer who plays as a left-back/left winger for Bayern Munich in the German Bundesliga. Davies needs no introduction and is considered by many as the best left-back of his generation. Davies won the treble in his first full season with Bayern and was named the Bundesliga rookie of the year. He is also the youngest player to play and score for the Canadian national team. Despite his 2020 being affected by injuries, Davies remains one of the best fullback prospects in the game and is set to be one of the best wonderkids of FM22.
