In this set of articles, we will be looking at the potential best 100
wonderkids in FM22. Part 3 of 10.
Many of these players are already considered generational talents. They are well known in the footballing circuit, while some others maybe not be as popular but have the potential to be just as good in the future. These articles will split the youngsters into batches of 10 and give a brief description of the wonderkid so that managers can keep an eye out for them when FM22 releases.
Continuing from our previous article, we take a look at the list of the next 10 potential wonderkids in FM22 who could add value to squads.
1. Adam Karabec
Karabec is a young Czech midfielder who plays for Sparta Prague in the Czech league. Karabec was named in the Guardian’s next-gen list of 2020. Karabec is a youth international with the Czech Republic and has decent attributes in FM21. He is expected to get a good attribute boost in FM22 and can be a player to watch out for in the game.
2. Ander Barrenetxea
Barrenetxea is a young Spanish winger who plays for Real Sociedad in La Liga. He is a youth international for Spain and has represented the nation at several junior levels. He is the first player since Antoine Griezmann to play for Real Sociedad directly without representing their ‘B’ side. He was also part of the Spanish side for the 2019 UEFA European Under-19 Championship, which won the tournament. Already a popular player in Spain, Barrenetxea is expected to be improved in FM22 and can be a real asset to manage.
3. Andre Amaro
Andre Amaro is a Portuguese youngster who plays as a defensive midfielder/central defender for Vitoria Guimares in the Portuguese Primeira Liga. A versatile player who can play in defensive midfield and defence, Amaro is a player whom many have high hopes for in Portugal. Although not very popular and having underwhelming attributes in FM21, Amaro could be a much better player in FM22 and could get a decent attribute boost.
4. Sotiris Alexandropoulos
Alexandropoulos is a Greek footballer who plays as a central midfielder for Panathinaikos in the Greek league. Despite being just 19, he is already an international with Greece and is expected to be a superstar for the country in the future. After his recent international debut and performances for Panathinaikos, Alexandrapoulos is expected to get a decent attribute boost in FM22 and can be a surprise player to look out for.
5. Victor Kristiansen
Victor Kristiansen is a left fullback who plays for FC Copenhagen in the Danish League. Kristiansen has been a regular feature at several junior levels for Denmark and is expected to be a big player for the nation in the future. With good fullbacks hard to come by in Football Manager, Kristiansen could be a good option at left-back in FM22, especially if he gets a good attribute boost in the game.
6. Bruno Praxedes
Bruno Praxedes, or simply Praxedes, is a midfielder who plays for Red Bull Bragantino in the Brazilian league. A youth product of Fluminense, Praxedes already has decent attributes in FM21 which are only expected to get better in the next instalment of the game. Praxedes is capable of playing central or defensive midfield with ease.
7. Matias Arezo
Matias Arezo is an Uruguayan striker who plays for River Plate Montevideo in the Uruguayan league. Already a popular striker in FM21, Arezo is considered a hidden gem in the game and becomes an excellent goalscorer in most saves. With interest from several European clubs and good performances in the recent season, Arezo is only expected to get better in FM22 and could be one of the favourites for most managers.
8. Josko Gvardiol
Josko Gvardiol is a Croatian defender who plays for RB Leipzig in the German Bundesliga. Gvardiol is already one of the more popular defenders from FM21, and his versatility is an added bonus for managers. His excellent performances in the recently concluded Euros is sure to get him a good attribute boost in FM22, and Gvardiol could be amongst the best defenders in the game.
9. Joao Pedro
Joao Pedro is a Brazilian wonderkid who plays for Watford in the English Premier League. Pedro is a youth product of Fluminense and was scouted by several clubs across Europe before he signed for Watford in 2020. Despite only making a lot of substitute appearances, Pedro scored 9 league goals for Watford in the 2020-2021 season and helped them achieve promotion. Already an undervalued impressive striker in FM21, Pedro can get even better in FM22 and can help most managers with his scoring ability.
10. Bukayo Saka
The last player on this list is a very well known name in European Football. Saka plays as a winger for Arsenal in the English Premier League. Despite being just 18, Saka is already an England international and is a key part of their national side. Although Arsenal as a club had a forgettable 2020-2021 season, Saka was a bright spot, and he was Arsenal’s most influential player. Already a superstar in FM21, Saka’s attributes are only expected to get better in FM22, and he will be one of the best wonderkids in the game.
