In this set of articles, we will be looking at the potential best 100 wonderkids in FM22. Part 9 of 10.

Wonderkids are one of the most important aspects of Football Manager games over the years. The prospect of identifying and managing the "next big thing" in world football is like an addiction to most FM22 managers.

Many of these players are already considered generational talents. They are well known in the footballing circuit, while others may not be as popular but can be just as good in the future. These articles will split the youngsters into batches of 10 and give a brief description of the wonderkid so that managers can keep an eye out for them when FM22 releases.

Continuing from our previous article, we look at the list of the next 10 potential wonderkids in FM22 who could add value to squads.

1. Krystof Danek

Krystof Danek is a young Czech footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Olomouc in the first division of Czech football. Danek has come up with some impressive performances in 2021 and is touted to make it big in European football. He could be a more popular choice in FM22, especially for managers managing mid-level teams.

2. Becir Omeragic

Becir Omeragic is a Swiss footballer with roots from Bosnia and currently plays as a central defender for FC Zurich in the first division of Swiss Football. Omeragic was an already popular choice of many managers in FM21. His recent performances for club and country could see him be even more popular in Football Manager 2022, where he could develop into a world-class defender like some of his idols, Sergio Ramos, Thiago Silva and Emir Spahic.

3. Taylor Harwood-Bellis

Taylor Harwood-Bellis is an English footballer who plays as a central defender for Anderlecht in the Belgian league on loan from Manchester City. Harwood-Belis is a youth international with England and has represented the nation at every youth level. After a good 2020-2021 season with Blackburn Rovers, Bellis could see a boost in attributes in FM22 and could be a popular defender considering that he is home grown in England.

4. Juan Sforza

Juan Sforza is an Argentine footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Newell's Old Boys, the youth club of Lionel Messi, in the Argentine league. Sforza was part of both the U15 and U17 teams of Argentina that won the South American championship and excelled in both the tournaments. Sforza has been linked with Barcelona for a couple of windows now, and it is only a matter of time before he moves to a bigger club in Europe. Sforza, with his increasing popularity, could be a more sought after player in FM 22.

5. Fabio Silva

Fabio Silva is a young Portuguese striker who plays as a striker for Wolverhampton Wanderers. Silva has been a popular FM wonderkid for several editions now. He is the youngest debutant and goalscorer ever for Porto and was involved in a club-record transfer to Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2020. Despite having an underwhelming first season, there is a belief that Silva can be amongst the most prolific strikers in world football given time and is sure to once again be a popular pick in FM 2022.

6. Yan Couto

Yan Couto is a Brazilian footballer who plays a right full-back for Braga (on loan from Man City) in the Portuguese first division. Couto had an impressive 2020-2021 season with Girona. This, combined with his increasing popularity in world football, could see him get a good boost in attributes in FM22, making him one of the most popular full-backs in the game.

7. Adrien Truffert

Adrien Truffert is a French footballer who plays as a left full-back for Rennes in Ligue 1. Although he was born in Belgium and eligible to play for the nation, Truffert has represented France in several junior levels. With a host of good performances in 2020 and 2021, Truffert could be a popular pick in FM22, where he will develop into a decent attacking full-back.

8. Eric Martel

Eric Martel is a German footballer who plays as a central defender for Austria Wien (on loan from RB Leipzig) in the Austrian Bundesliga. Martel is a tall young centre back who has made heads turn with impressive performances in 2021. His growing reputation as a tall reliable defender could see him be a popular choice in FM2022, especially for managers who handle German clubs.

9. Florian Wirtz

Florian Wirtz is a German footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Bayer Leverkusen in the German Bundesliga. Wirtz is the youngest ever player to debut for Leverkusen in the Bundesliga. Until recently, he was the youngest ever goalscorer in the Bundesliga and is one of the youngest debutants for Germany. Already an extremely popular player in the Football Manager community, Wirtz is expected to be an even better player in the next instalment of the game.

10. Mason Greenwood

Mason Greenwood is an English footballer who plays as a striker/insider forward for Manchester United in the English Premier League. Greenwood is Man Utd's one of the youngest ever debutants in the Premier League. He is also their youngest player in European competitions and their youngest goalscorer in the competition. Greenwood is also an international with the England national team and is expected to play a big part for club and country in the future. Greenwood is amongst the most popular picks for FM managers, especially for his finishing and versatility. His impressive performances at the start of the 2021 season could see him maintain his grip as one of the best young strikers in the game and be amongst the most popular choices in FM22.
