Not all football players are made equal. Most of them are destined to be average players, while only a small part of them will achieve amazing things on the biggest of stages and play in the most prominent clubs. It is only wonderkids who have a chance to become football legends.
Who are Football Manager 2022 Wonderkids?
Football Manager 2022 wonderkids are the players who have all the requirements of becoming world-class, elite, players in FM2022.
Age and Potential
For a young player to be labelled as a Football Manager 2022 Wonderkid, the youngster mustn't be older than 20 on the date when you start your game (we've used 30th July as my starting date in FM22, that's the start of the English Premier League).
Another criterion is that the FM2021 wonderkids needs to have a Potential Ability of at least 150 ( fixed PA ), or anywhere from negative -8 to -10 PA (both -85 and -95 PA players included). In Football Manager 2022 for a player to be labelled as a wonderkid he has to excel both in his Current Ability ( CA ), and Potential Ability ( PA ).

Player's potential ability is presented with a number from 15 to 20. These numbers, of course, represent the range in which the player's PA is in the game.

Please note that if there is no ‘Shortlists’ folder at this destination,
simply right-click in the folder > make new folder > name it
‘Shortlists’ (without the quotations ‘’).
Start Football Manager 2022
- Load your save game and navigate to Scouting > Shortlists
- Now on the right side of the screen click on the icon > select 'Load Shortlist...'
- Now highlight FM2022 Wonderkids shortlist and click the 'Load' button.

| Follow the steps from 1 to 5, and your shortlist file will load in the game. Click to enlarge the image. |
If you've done everything correctly from this short tutorial, then all the
FM22 wonderkids that have been loaded in your save game setup will show on the
shortlist screen. How many of them will show depends on how large database you've selected at
the start of your save, the bigger the database, more wonderkids will show up
for you.
