For anyone trying to build a team on Football Manager 2022, the old adage is true: you are only as good as your worst player. Trying to find the best players to bring in to bulk up your team? Then check this list out.
Each player will likely be coveted from day one, so just keep that in mind as you try to pick up some of the most exciting young talents in the FM22 database today.
Hugo Felix – Portugal – SL Benfica
A top young player with a great all-around game for one so young. You should definitely have him on your must-have list in Football Manager 2022.
Reinier Jesus – Brazil – Real Madrid
Things have not worked out in Spain or in Germany. The player has all of the raw talent to make up for lost time, though, and could be the ideal available wonderkid to buy.
Yeremy Pino – Spain – Villareal
A natural dribbler and finisher, he can play on both wings and could easily offer you a new versatile young attacking option.
Brian Oddei – Ghana – Sassuolo
Though he will likely need some time and patience at elite level, a small basic wage means he is more attainable for smaller clubs than other names who have made our FM2022 wonderkids list.
Takuhiro Nakai – Japan – Real Madrid
Definitely a player to keep an eye on if you want someone who could be built and turned into a top class playmaker at the highest level of football.
Hannibal – Tunisia – Manchester United
You will need some patience with Hannibal, but he could be an absolutely stellar long-term signing.
Mateusz Musialowski – Poland – Liverpool FC
For a young kid, though, he has all of the attributes that one could need from a wide attacker. Definitely, one to add to your list of players to look into signing on FM 22. Hard to pry away from Liverpool, but by no means impossible.
Calegari – Brazil – Fluminense
He has all of the ability you need to trust him in high pressure scenarios, and Calegari is also at one of the most indebted clubs in Brazil so you could find landing him easier than other options in Europe.
Riccardo Calafiori – Italy – AS Roma
While his technical game needs some work, you should have no problem in shaping Calafiori into an international full-back if you give it enough time.
Wesley Fofana – France – Leicester City
Fofana handled the step up into the Premier League with consummate ease, and looks every bit the young gem he was pegged to be back in France. A high-cost signing, but perhaps the most sure-fire name on this list in terms of a wonderkid who will absolutely come good.
