Youssoufa Moukoko – Borussia Dortmund

Having blown onto the scene as a 16-year old, making his debut (and scoring not long enough) days into his 16th year, Youssoufa Moukoko looks like one with a very bright future. He’s a striker with excellent all-around attributes, and though raw in the earliest phases of the game, he will soon grow into a much more mature overall striker.

Definitely, one we would recommend adding to your list of players to investigate. Though it might be hard to prize him away from BVB, big clubs with a budge shouldn’t hesitate to pounce.

 

Matias Arezo – Granada

A hotshot young striker himself, Matias Arezo has been a well-known name in the South American scouting world since he was a young boy. At 18, he represents a slightly more mature option than the above, but he definitely has the potential to evolve into one of the best strikers in FM2022.

Definitely more attainable than Moukoko, but he has unfortunately signed for the La Liga club Granada in the winter transfer window, so you might have to wait until the end of the first season.

 

Andre Gomes – SL Benfica

If you are looking for a top-quality young goalkeeper, then be sure to look at Andre Gomes of SL Benfica. The Lisbon club have a proud record of producing young stars, and look certain to do the same again with this youngster. Though he might be hard to snap-up for anything like a small fee, he could definitely be grabbed as your rotation choice at just about any club bigger than SLB themselves.

Definitely a goalkeeper with all of the attributes that one would look for in a keeper.

Wesley Fofana – Leicester City

Foxes fans know just how good this young lad is destined to be and how likely he is to be a top club in the near future. An exceptional reading of the game paired up with a ridiculous physicality makes him one of the most exciting young defenders in the world.

While he might cost you most of your budget, signing Wesley Fofana for any major club is almost certain to put you in a position to complete. Ideally, the cornerstone of your title-winner.

 

Josko Gvardiol – RB Leipzig

Having been making lists like this for a few years now, Josko Gvardiol is now a sprightly 19 and is showing all of the development we would have hoped for. Though he might be an expensive buy, he has not quite broken in at RBL at the start of the game, and thus you could push for a transfer from them if you are forceful enough.

The ability to play comfortably as a centre-half and as a left-back make him an excellent player to target long-term.

 

Jurrien Timber – AFC Ajax

An excellent all-around athlete who can play at both right-back and centre-back, you should be looking to make plenty of room for Timber in your next team. He has the skill, the ball-playing quality, and the composure to slot right into a top-league team immediately.

The main issue will be time to acclimatise to a new country, because his in-game stats for composure etc., are sublime.

Ilaix Moriba – RB Leipzig (on loan at Valencia)

Another Leipzig boy on the list, but one who actually played for FC Barcelona until their summer cull and is now back at La Liga playing for Valencia on loan. The player has all of the hallmarks of a modern midfielder, and could easily evolve into the kind of talent that you could build a whole midfield around.

He can do a little bit of everything and could be set to make a huge breakthrough in the near future in terms of getting regular gametime. Swoop in 2022 for a game-changing midfield talent.

 

Shola Shoretire – Manchester United

Your only hope of landing this boy is frustration at the small army of talents in front of him. Shola is considered one of the best English wonderkids in FM22. You could probably land Shoretire if you really pushed the boat out, but for most clubs, it would likely be a loan opportunity at best. Shoretire has quality in both feet, is a natural dribbler, and has impressive statistics for composure and off-the-ball movement for one so young.

If you could somehow convince him to leave Old Trafford, he could be one to really build your attack around. 

 

Angelo – Santos

Were it not for the gluttony of other Brazilian wing wizards out there, then Angelo would be getting even more praise. Taking the lead from the likes of Neymar and Rodrygo, this is a player with sublime potential and a mentality that screams big game player.

He could be someone you could prize away from Santos given their precarious financial situation, and his rather meagre wages at the start. Move fast, though, because the biggest clubs in the world will be sniffing around by January ’22 in the game.

Luka Romero – Lazio

Looking for a midfielder to build your whole attacking play around in the future? Then take a closer look at Luka Romero. The midfielder is growing all the time in terms of his reputation, but at 16 he is not yet going to be playing regularly for Lazio. Perhaps you could swoop in and grab him for your own team?

It would be a wise choice; he is one of the most exciting #10s in the Football Manager 2022 winter database update. He really has everything to not only play, but dominate at the highest levels. Give him a year or two to grow at a huge club, or play him from day one at a Lazio-sized club, and reap the rewards for years to come.
