Billy Gilmour is one of the best Scottish wonderkids in Football Manager 2022. In the auto generated FM 22 save, after spending a couple of seasons at Chelsea, Gilmour has left the club and joined Stoke City on a free transfer. He barely got any minutes while at Chelsea in the auto save and was only playing u23 football. After 3 decently successful seasons at Stoke, Gilmour has moved back to Norwich in the Premier League but was once again relegated to the bench having been given very few games to show what he is capable of. Finally in the year 2031 (the 10th season of the autosave) he is back in Scotland with Celtic and is one of the more important players for the side. His growth no doubt has stagnated massively due to his lack of chances at many of his clubs.
His average ratings have been steady throughout the 10 seasons. Under a human manager with a lot more gametime and development, Gilmour has the potential to become one of the top midfielders in the game.
