About Napoli
Napoli is an Italian professional football club based in the city of Naples that plays in Serie A, the top flight of Italian football. Formed in 1926, Napoli has won two Serie A titles, six Coppa Italia titles, two SuperCoppa Italiana titles, and one UEFA Cup. Napoli are the most successful football club out of Naples and are the club with the 4th highest fan base in Italy.
Napoli finished 3rd in the Serie A and have in the Champions League as a result. The board requirements once you take over will be;
· Be in the top 4 of the Serie A (Automatic UCL Qualification)
· Challenge for the Italian Cup
· Reach the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League.
Additionally, you will be required to play entertaining football and sign players under 23 for the first team, with a special preference for players from Argentina.
The supporter culture & expectations once you take over will be;
Napoli have good training facilities and a decent youth setup. However, these have to be worked on to obtain consistency with the club.
Squad, Formation and Tactical Style
Napoli have become one of the most exciting teams in Europe this season due to their high pressing intense style of football that has yielded them lots of goals. The best tactic to go with this current squad would be the gegenpress. However, you can switch to a counter-attacking tactic for difficult fixtures or away games for practical purposes.
A 4-3-3 is how Napoli line up in real life and is probably the best-suited formation for this squad of players. It also innately plays to the players' strengths of crossing and releasing the strikers early. Alternatively, you can use the 4-2-3-1 formation too.
A rough example of what your line-up would look like in a 4-3-3 formation is as follows;
Alex Meret as a sweeper keeper.
Kim Min-Jae & Amir Rrahmani as the 2 centre backs. Both are relatively comfortable on the ball and can be played as ball-playing defenders.
Giovanni Di Lorenzo & Mario Rui as the 2 wing backs.
Piotr Zielinski, Stanislav Lobotka & Zambo Anguissa as the 3 midfielders, with Zielinski operating as a deep playmaker, Lobotka as a central midfielder & Anguissa as a box-to-box midfielder.
Kvicha Kvaratshkelia & Hirving Lozano as the 2 wide players, with Kvicha playing as an inside forward and Lozano as a winger.
Victor Osimhen plays as the lone striker up front in a Pressing Forward role.
The Polish midfielder is one of the most creative players for Napoli and can dictate the tempo of the game from midfield.
Zambo Anguissa
The Cameroonian midfielder has really come of age in the last couple of seasons and is one of the best physical midfielders currently in the Serie A.
Victor Osimhen
The Nigerian frontman is a club record signing for Napoli and has shown great quality up front. His goals will dictate the season for most managers who take over the club.
Youth Prospects
Kvicha Kvaratskhelia
The player who has drawn comparisons with Diego Maradona for having the best start to his Napoli career, Kvicha, is a real gem in the game. Under the right circumstances, he can develop into one of the best attackers in the Serie A.
Alessandro Zanoli
The young Italian fullback is already involved with the first-team squad and can become a top player for the club in the future.
Weaknesses
· The quality of backups in the squad may not be up to quality and could prove fatal if your squad is affected by injuries.

· This is a young squad and the best talents may take a few years to reach their prime.
